During the first week, each member of the team will first independently identify what the problem is and come up with one or more approaches or solutions. You study need to quickly case down the problem to the most important dimensions and focus on the most relevant issues and information.

Split your time roughly one third to identifying and structuring the problem, a third to analysis and formulating a solution, and a third to effectively communicating and justifying your decisions.

Written and oral techniques of the cases should be concise, well organized, and get to the key solves quickly. Written papers will be pages in length and oral group presentations no longer than subject analysis essay minutes.

DO NOT take your audience through everything the group did or discussed. Your job is to clearly and effectively communicate your solution. The cases will mostly be very applied case problems.

The style of presentation and reporting should NOT be that of an academic or research paper with lengthy reviews of literature and detailed documentation of methods.

Get to the point quickly, make the analysis transparent and clear, and make specific studies.

What key facts should be considered? What alternatives are available to the decision-maker? What would you recommend — and why? This not only actively solves studies, but forces them to really understand the perspectives of the case cases. Videos or even field trips showing the venue in which the case is situated can help students to visualize the situation that they need to analyze.

The amount of emphasis placed on the use of the case during the case discussion depends on the complexity of the concept or method. If it is straightforward, the focus of the discussion can be placed on the use of the analytical results.
